We have made a design with TPS56837, and we are happy with its performance.
One thing is out of spec though, the switching frequency is around 360-380kHz, instead of 500khz.
Our design converts 18Vdc to 12Vdc, up to 7,5Amp.
Our mode resistor is 30k1, this should give 500Khz.
I have simulated the design, using webbench, and the simualtion says 515kHz switchfrequency.
What is the reason for this deviation?
