Hi team,
Is the unit of Load Regulation of 50mA≦IOUT≦3A on the new chip a typo? It will be very bad.

Hello Kobayashi-San,
I will speak with the systems/ PME and test/ validation team to confirm this and I'll get back to you. I think all of these units are %/A

Hi Ishaan,
Load regulation of 0 to 50 mA is not specified for the new chip of other similar products (TPS742/743).
Are the values for 0 to 50 mA for the TPS744 correct? If they are correct, why does it deteriorate?
Comparing Fig.5-1 to 4, the load regulation of the new chip appears to be better, but the electrical characteristics table shows that it has deteriorated.
What is the reason for the deterioration? Are the values correct?
Best regards,
That is correct, I don't see the load regulation of 0 to 50 mA for the new devices in the TPS742/ 743 datasheets.
Unless you want an immediate response, we are currently in the process of rectifying this and updating the information in the datasheets.
Please let me know if an immediate response is needed here.
Please let us know the load regulation values and specified conditions for the new chip as soon as possible.
We look forward to updating the data sheet.
A couple of weeks. I have also sought the changes to be put in there so I can provide them to you earlier.
Please let me know first whether the load regulation has worsened with the new chip.
