Customer have a circuit that uses the Bob Smith circuit. There is a paper on the TI website that explained this circuit, but there was an EFT capacitor in it, and a 2kV capacitor was selected here.

Can you help to explain the background of choosing the 2kV withstand voltage of the EFT capacitor here?
When choosing a capacitor here, how should customer choose the package, withstand voltage, and capacitance volume?
Is there any other same function device to recommend?
