Yes, do a complete discharge, rest for 5 hours, charge to full, then rest for another 5 hours.

just attaching a new log with the exact cycle that you have asked.
The cells were ballanced manually by us prior to the cycle, but we keept some difference between them to see if the balancing kicks in.ImbalanceTest3.log

This is a very strange behavior I am seeing in the log file. I would recommend upgrading the firmware to the R5 version. Since you have the gg file you have a record of the data memory parameters so you can make the changes to match the previous settings. After making those changes I would complete one complete discharge and charge cycle on the battery.

I updated the Gauge FW with the downloaded one. The app saied the "Operation executed successfully".
However, there was no change in the program data field!

Is this correct?

After programming the srec, you need to reopen BQStudio. Then you should see that information update.

I've reopened it multiple times, also dis and reconnected the EV2400 over USB. The info remains the same on the DashBoard.
I've reloaded/compared the data memory content. there were some updates in the Gasgauging tablet related tothe Ra Table update and in the life cycle tab:





Whats a bit confusing is the "Total FW Runtime" i thought this will be set to 0 after an FW update, but maybe thats normal(?)

I've sut compared the last log (what i've recorded after the FW update) and an older one. In both files the FW version is BQZ Firmware Version = V2_08_BLD50....

I've Tried also to update the FW to the nex Version 2.11 but the issue is the same. I don't know if the Gauge needs to be unsealed or not, bu i tried it sealed, unsealed and with full access. I've also sent a reset command, but nothing changed.

What else can i try?

Hi Adrian,

after a few tries the update worked. The Update Status is 0, so im starting again with the learning cycle.

Is there any possibility to import the Ra Table from the old golden image? Or do i have to do the cycle again?
