LM5148: Start-up with a large output capacitor

Hi,

I want to connect 5000uF to the output of LM5148, but I'm concerned about the start-up characteristics.
I want to suppress the rush current at startup, but the LM5148's soft-start time is fixed and cannot be adjusted.
Are there any alternatives?

Hello,

Suggest regulating the current while the cap is charging and then regulate voltage after the Cap has fully charged, this requires a CC/CV converter.

please consider the LM5190 as a device that implements the above functions.

Does this mean that it is difficult to achieve good startup with the LM5148 unless the output capacitor is reduced?
