Hello Roy,
Thanks for the inquiry. A rapid discharge circuit using a MOSFET should be relatively easy to implement, A N-channel FET with the drain connected to the node to be discharged, source grounded and gate driven to the minimum VGS where Rds(on) is specified. You may want to add a series drain resistor to limit the current and dissipate some of the power if the capacitance to be discharged is high. Can you share the detailed application requirements?
