We are currently using the BQ27542 gauge IC in a customer project and have encountered an issue where the SOH unexpectedly drops to 59% under specific test conditions. Below are the details of the test:
- Charging Condition: 0.25A charge for 20 seconds.
- Load Condition: Pulse load for approximately 2 seconds.
- Observation: The SOH anomaly occurs consistently at the 57th cycle during testing.
Could you please help identify the potential root causes for this behavior? Specifically:
- Are there any known factors related to the BQ27542 algorithm that could cause such an SOH drop under these conditions?
- Could the pulse load or specific charging/discharging profile affect the SOH calculation or battery modeling?
