My apologies for causing an inconvenience.
I am currently designing a system using the TPS25983 eFuse since it is the only one apart from TPS1685(currently not in production) which has the current and voltage range I require. The design requires up to a maximum(non-continuous) of 16A for a 24V system.
The reason I am contacting you is that the TPS25983 has a maximum overvoltage lockout set to 26V, which is what I am currently using in the design as well. The issue is that the supply voltage can vary between 22V to 27.2V depending on the SoC of an 8S LFP battery, which would trip the OVLO. Would there be a no OVLO option for the TPS25983 be available, similar to the TPS259827ONRGE variant? The reason the TPS25983 is preferred is due to its wide applicable range, like the TPS1685, apart from external FET solutions which have less protection features.
Other than the above, is there anything else I can try?
Please let me know all the possible options.
P.S. : I also read up on the possibility of parallel connecting eFuses, which I would not prefer due to the larger solution size, but if that is the only available option, I might try it with two TPS259827ONRGE or even the TPS259807ONRGE set to 8A ILIM.
