TPS66020EVM: How to use

I am currently checking the TPS66020EVM, and I have two questions. - When I turn on the power, the VIN of the EVM is 5V, but I heard that the TPS66020 is 3.3V. (It's also written in the datasheet.) Will 5V be okay? - In a previous forum, I was told that it would work with VBUS_LDO even without VIN, but if VIN is not input, the SINK path (PPHV) will not be opened. Does this mean that VIN input is required?

    TPS66020 has a recommended operating VIN range of up to 3.6V but has an absolute maximum of up to 6V. The EVM uses 5V VIN to simplify as it gets this directly from micro-USB input. This is ok and safe for the device. The reason we advertise TPS66020 to support 3.3V VIN and TPS66021 to support 5V VIN is because in a system that can only provide 3.3V to VIN, only the minimum threshold of the TPS66020 will be met. 5V VIN can technically be used with both devices.

    TPS66020 on the EVM will not enable the sink path until EN0 signal is asserted, according to this table below. Because the jumper pins on the EVM connect EN0 and EN1 to VIN or GND only, sink path control will depend on VIN. This can be changed in the user system so sink path can be enabled without VIN.
