Hi,

We are using TPS92513DGQT for IR LED dimming.

Datasheet specifies 1.5A max current through the IC.

Electrical characteristics specifies current limit threshold as 6A on page 5 of TPS92513 datasheet.

Can I use for IR dimming with max current of 2A.

Hi Kiran,

I am back to office earlier than expected :)

It is not recommended to use TPS92513 in application conditions that require output current larger than 1.5A.

TPS922051 is recommended here.
