My question is regarding the TPS40200 PWM controller. Can I use this device with an external error amplifier connected to the comp pin? I need higher precision than the 2% called out on the datasheet, and using an external error amplifier with a precision reference is the best way I know how to accomplish this

    David,

    I have asked the design team for information on overriding the error amp on the TPS40200. I will let you know when I hear back.

    In the mean time, what are your actual specs? If you have a restricted temperature range, and / or a restricted Vcc range, you may get the performance you need as is.

    Can you provide details of Vcc range, temp range, and regulation limits you need to meet?
