TPS3704-Q1: UV, OV, or Window monitoring capability?

The front page of the data sheet (under Features) indicates that this device can be "Configured for Window, UV or OV voltage monitoring".

I do not see that that is really true when looking thru the data sheet.  It appears this device is capable of ONLY window monitoring.

Can you please let me know how to use this device as UV monitoring only if it, in fact, can do that?

    The configuration for Window, UV, or OV is set at the factory OTP. Therefore, as you stated today there are only window monitoring automotive options released. We have many good and easily adjustable single channel UV devices like the TPS3808EG01DBVRQ1 available.

    To provide an alternate device recommendation could you help provide:

    • Number of rails monitored?
      • desired UV threshold voltage for each rail?

  • Thank you, Joshua.  I have a CPU core (0.8-0.875 based on a CPU VID), CPU IO (1.8), 1.2V for DDR4 power, Serdes Core (0.9), Serdes IO (1.8), and a manual reset input where the CPU can request a full power on reset (1.8V LVCMOS that essentially could be a push button reset). I am fairly flexible on the tolerances of each monitored voltage with the main goal to ensure each of the powers are reasonably close to their minimum operational needs (min of ~.75V on the CPU core, ~100mv on 1.2V, ~150mV for 1.8V).  I am currently looking at using two of the TPS3704 devices with open collector outputs tied together.  I do not care about monitoring for over voltage.  Thanks for any suggestions that you can offer.  -Bill

    Unfortunately, we do not have any UV only TPS3704-Q1 devices released or planned and therefore I would suggest using multiple single channel UV devices like the TPS3808EG01DBVRQ1.
