TPS22995: Can I use this IC as discharge IC only?

Tool/software:

I want to make LDO's discharge circuit.
But I can't find out discharge function IC in TI line-up.
So I try to use  this IC as discharge IC.
Can I use this IC like this?

    Hi Kenji,

    It looks like you are looking for IC with bi-directional current feature. Yes, this IC can support that in certain conditions. The body diode is not rated for continuous current so you will have to turn on the device. Once the device is on, the current will flow through the main FET of device which is allowed.
