Hi, I purchased some power ICs from a trusted, well-known supplier. Over the years, the TPS54231 chips I received had consistent shape, packaging, and performance. However, I recently started noticing performance issues. After thoroughly reviewing my circuit multiple times and finding no weaknesses, I realized that the newly purchased ICs had different markings compared to typical TI chips. My circuit and layout remain unchanged from when everything was working fine in the past. Could these be low-quality counterfeit parts instead of genuine TI chips? Has TI ever produced chips with this type of marking or engraving?
