The thermistor calculator described in the linked thread can be found within the "TI-CHARGER-GUI" software, which can be accessed from TI.com. I have provided a link to page below.

Once on TI-CHARGER-GUI you can search for BQ25629 device, as shown below. Then the tab with the calculator icon is the thermistor calculator page.
