BQ27220EVM-744: Trying to get GPOUT signal toggling when OCV_CMD is sent

Part Number: BQ27220EVM-744
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, BQ27220

Tool/software:

I am trying to understand how OCV CMD is working using the EVM744 board.

I have configure OperationConfigB to 1013 to output GPOUT signal when first OCV or any OCV command is issued, however I wonder if I missed some other config because when I push the OCV_CMD button in the BQSTUDIO application, I can see the OCV CMD sent on I2C bus but I never see GPOUT toggling.

Even if i change the polarity of GPOUT in OperationConfigB I am not seeing any effect on GPOUT ...

Am is missing other configuration so that GPOUT signal can really be generated  ?

Also in BatteryStatus register, the OCVGD / OCVCOMP bits are always set and never toggling even if I submit a new OCV CMD from the bqStudio tool. TRM document is not clear about that but do I need to write into the batteryStatus register to clear some of the OCVXX bits ??

I am using a logic analyser looking on I2C exchanges and also monitoring GPOUT changes.

Can you please advice on experiments ?
