BQ76907EVM: CC1 Current read 0 at low discharge current

Part Number: BQ76907EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76907

Tool/software:

Hi TI Support Team,

I'm testing using BQ76907 EVM board.

=> Why CC1 Current is not detecting low discharge current (500mA).

However, when i increase discharge current to 600mA, CC1 Current is able to detect the 600mA.

Then i tried to reduce the discharge current after it detected the 600mA, CC1 current register is able to read low discharge current (e.g shown 500mA and 200mA)

=> Why CC1 Current register is only able to detect low discharge current after detecting a high discharge current? Seems like a kick start is required??

Regards,

Ferlyn
