Hi,

I am working a simulation circuit of LMR51450 in TI PSpice.

I am using the TI Models of LMR51450, INA186A3 and TLV9002 in the simulation.

When simulating the circuit, I am getting below error continuously even i am not using any probes in the circuit and i am not used any model other than TI Model in the circuit.

Please help on this error. I am using the TI PSpice 2024 App only.

Hi Rayees,

Can you send the simulation files? Did you start with the pre-configured project file on the product page?

That usually solves the issue.

Hi Rayees,

It seems as though the libraries aren't imported properly for the TI components to your project.

Can you start with the modifying the project on LMR51460 project page then importing the other TI models into your project (from their respective product folder on ti.com). When you go to place the component do it from the design cache.

Follow this guide to see how to import parts. Note that you won't have to do any text editing they do in the video, just importing the .lib and .olb files.

Hi Andrew,

I have checked with above details. But its not resolving the issue.

After further analysis, i have found the problem is with the INA186 Model.

If i am simulating the INA186 model separately or running the INA186 test circuit downloaded from TI Website same problem i am getting.

Please help on this issue. LMR5145 Alone its working, also i have simulated using INA183 its working.

I have created all this 3 parts in LT Spice, but there some error i am getting, may be its due the encrypted model. Can you support with un encrypted model of LMR5145.

Hi Rayees,

Correct, the encrypted models won't work on LTSPICE.

To clear this error it's very simple. All you need to do is place a couple of these probes and it should simulate.

Can you send the file where you have all of the models imported?

I have tried above method also, its sometime simulating. I am not able to probe any other points after simulation completed also. Only one probe where i am probing is showing. If i am using more than one problem it is showing the error. It's very difficult to simulate, i am not understanding my simulation results are correct or wrong due to these errors.

Can you suggest Any other alternate parts to INA186 which is already available in TI Pspice library to use in the simulation.

Hi Rayees,

I got it to simulate, but I'm not sure it's the output you wanted. The buck models are simple and not designed to work under anything that's not a simple version of the circuit.

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply. The simulation is working with one or two probes. Some errors like convergence will come and ignoring this error i am able to simulate with two probes, which needs to be placed initially, no other probes will work in the ckt other that this probes in the simulation.

Its better if TI can add this INA186 Model in there in built TI Pspice library.
