UCC27714:CLASS D AMPLIFIER

Part Number: UCC27714
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5548, UCC27712,

Tool/software:

Best regards, I am doing a degree project to present a class D audio amplifier, the only pwm switching driver that I know is the ir2110 and its brothers, I would like to know if Texas Instruments has any integrated circuit that can be used to switch signals pwm of the tas5548 for IRFP260N transistors, in H bridge, thank you.

  • Hello Teobaldo,

I see that the Mosfets are 200V rated and the processor is 96kHz. Can you confirm the high voltage input rail of the class D amplifier? And also the switching frequency?

The UCC27714 would be a good fit for the 100kHz range switching, also I recommend looking at the UCC27712 which is also a 600V half bridge driver but in a smaller 8D package.

I wanted to see if the high voltage input was 100V or less, as TI has a portfolio of 120V half bridge drivers that have lower propagation delays.

    Regards,
