TPSM86638: Resistors for switching frequency selection

TPSM86637: Is the MODE resistor option only valid on the TPSM86638, and not the TPSM86637?

Tool/software:

Since the TPSM86637 is for ECO mode which varies the switching frequency based on load, does the MODE pin actually do anything for that part, or should it be left unconnected?
