Hi Gareth,

I am suggesting from eFuse portfolio (integrated FET)

TPS25980 is one option but its max recommended voltage is 24V/8A. If you need some buffer, better to use TPS25983 which is p2p device with 26V/20A capability.

Another option is TPS1663/TPS2663 which are 60V/6A device.

Mainly, the machine has dual input power supply.

To prevent power backflow, an e-fuse is used as a switch to block reverse power backflow.

Input power: DC Adapter + Type-C PD Power.

Hi Gareth,

It looks like your application will require reverse current blocking. Out of all the suggested options above, only TPS2663 can support RCB + 24V/5A operating conditions.

Please let me know if you need ideal diode. I will have to add my colleague who is expert in those.
