LP8864S-Q1: shutdown current

team, can you please confirm that this device requires an external Vdd and doesnt draw current from the Vin (vsense pins) ?

therefore the shutdown current would exclusively be the Vdd shutdown current. If the device is able to draw it's power from vsense pin : what is the shutdown current of the device please ?

Pls refer to the datasheet, the shutdown current here is only the VDD pin shutdown current.

Mr Wu,

To estimate the total current consumption on battery of our display in sleep mode, vehicle in park mode. Car manufacturers can request something like 50µA/100µA max.

Because VSENSE_P and VSENSE_N are directly connected to +BAT (12V), leakage current on both pin is very important.

The main concern for the leakage of VSENSE is the resistor leakage.

Pls refer to below suggestion in the datasheet of the low leakage current.

Mr Wu,

If the transistor between R5 and GND is not conductive, leakage current on VSENSE_P, VSENSE_N and UVLO is still relevant.

Sure, the current on VSENSE_P/VSENSE_N is low and normally it can be ignored. I needs check with ATE for the detailed value.
