TPS61390: The DC supply for 30+ APD array system

I am currently planning on utilizing the "Peak Response @900nm 500μm Silicon Avalanche Photodiode APD TO46 Package" Avalanche Photodiode

I am making an array with 33 of these. I am hoping I could wire them such that one DC-DC converter is utilized to pull the voltage to 100volts to power all 30 avalanche photo diodes.

Does this make sense?

Are there any suggestions on how I should deal with it?

Hi Junki,

In you application what's the Vin and target Vout (100V or higher)? For Vout higher than 85V, a charge-pump based topology will be needed.

Do you mean that you want to bias all the 33 photodiodes in parallel? What's the bias current of each photodiode in working?

One more question, if the 33 photodiodes in biased in parallel, only the total current needs to be sensed?
