My customer had a question about the TPS56C230 below:
Just a question related to TPS56C230 that we talked about last year. I have a question about pin#6 (red circled):
Is this pin a high-current carrying pin or just used as a bootstrap? I noticed it transitioned to another layer which is usually frowned-upon with it comes to high-current SW node. If it is a “somewhat” current carrying pin, that pin is quite conveniently located.
We purchased the EVM for this board last year, seems to be stable and did not notice any noise.
