Thank you for providing me with the log file and gg file. From your gg file and log file the gauge is performing how I would expect given the configuration you have programmed and the discharge cycle.

What is happening here is that you are discharging the battery far below the terminate voltage you have programmed into the gauge. You have the terminate voltage programmed for 3400 mV when in reality you are discharging all the way down to 2890 mV. The gauge is reporting 0% when the voltage crosses below the terminate voltage you have programmed (3400mV) when in reality you are discharging much further than this. This is resulting in there being more useable capacity, and thus taking the gauge a long time to go from 0% to 1%.

If your system's terminate voltage is actually this ~2900mV, then the solution to resolve this behavior would be to change the terminate voltage value you have programmed into the gauge to be 2900mV, which is reflective of the system configuration.

After the re-test, I will discharge to 3400mV, and the RSOC is also 0%. When I charge again, it still takes 12 minutes for 0%~1%, which is too long. May I ask what the reason is and is there any way to improve it? thank you

I need to see a full discharge/charge log file, this log only shows a portion of the charge. Additionally after you collect the log file can you capture the gg file and send that over as well?

Hello,

Please check the attached log and GG file. I set Terminate Voltage to 3200mV, and then discharge 1A to 3200mV 0%. Charging at 25℃ and 0℃ respectively, charging at 25℃ 0%~1% charging time of 2 minutes, charging at 5℃ 0%~1% charging time of 33 minutes, what is the reason for this, is there a way to shorten the charging time at 5℃?

Hello,

Please use the GPCRB tool to optimize the gauging parameters for cold temperature then try the test again. I believe if you optimize the parameters for cold temp you should see better performance.

Please also make sure you program the chemdat correctly. You can refer to this E2E thread for the exact process. Once you do this, then you should reperform your test to see if the behavior is resolved.
