I am not seeing it in the data sheet or any other documents.

Please advise and provide documentation if possible.

    Hi Soren,

    Thanks for using the e2e forum.
    There is no specification regarding any surge voltages for this device.
    The recommended VIN range is 3.5V - 40V with an abs max value of 45V.
    As long as the device is supplied within this range, no risk for the device is expected.
