BQ25176M: The purpose of BIAS pin

Hi Team,

I would like to realize the purpose of BIAS pin, I understand it could be applied as shutdown "switch". But if I connect it to GND with resistor, what is the function of BIAS pin at this time?

    Hi Kailun

    The BQ25176M is designed for Solar Charging and Energy Harvesting applications that do not require a TS function.  Some of the TS pin features are still available, as you noted shutdown.  But a 10k resistor to ground is required for normal operation.
