Tool/software:
Hi team,
The secondary side of the UCG28826 is recommended to use a synchronous rectification method for the SR Controller, but is it okay to change it to a diode rectification method?
Best regards,
Kyohei

Hi Kyohei,
From the UCG28826 perspective, there is no issue, but from the USB PD Tolerance perspective there could be as VOUT would drop more with a diode as a function of load current than with the SR controller.
My understanding is that the USB Type C PD standard has tight specifications on output voltage.
I hope this answers your question.
