TPS74201: Does the TPS74201 with M3 means new chip?

Hi,

In the datasheet, it said there is new chip and legacy chip and seems use the M3 to separated it.

So does it means that TPS74201RGWRM3 is new chip, we can use the new chip spec to evaluate, but the TPS74201RGWR would contain both new chip and legacy chip, we need use the legacy spec to evaluate.

Right?

M3 is a suffix designator for newer chip redesigns, fabricated on the latest TI process technology on 300mm wafer. At the current moment, TI recommends LP2985A-50DBVRM3 be used for new designs.
