BQ27427: How to determine the offset address of the specified data in the data block?

Part Number: BQ27427

Tool/software:

How to determine the offset address of the specified data in the data block?
In the "4.1 Data Memory Parameter Update Example" section of the data manual, there is a mention of "Block data starts at 0x40",
1. May I ask why the data starts from 0x40? In which part of the document is this item written?
2. How can I determine the starting address of other data blocks?

Regards

  • Hello

To determine the offset address of specified data in the data block please refer to the " BQ27427 Technical Reference Manual" to determine the offset needed on a case by case instance and there is Pseudo Code to help you in the task.
For the second part of the question if you refer to page 27 you can view where it talks about the extended data commands and I couldn't tell you about the reasoning for some of the data blocks being sealed or unseal either than it being necessary to be intact to utilized TI give firmware and software. Lastly for the last part of the question I would rely on the attached document to determine the starting address of other blocks as well since it's a case by case instance.

    Regard,
    Alan
