LM5171: ISET's "1.0V" offset / threshold

Part Number: LM5171

Tool/software:

What is the tolerance of the "1.0V" ISET DC Offset Voltage (datasheet page 7)? Is there a "dead zone" where we can "park" ISET at or near 1V without fear that the part will suddenly change direction from Buck to Boost when DIR=1?

Speaking of "dead zone" - the datasheet implies that leaving DIR floating puts the part into Standby. Can this be confirmed?
