As regards the out circuit protection test, the Vout didn't decrease to 0V and the I-load increase to 1.58A when I press the electronic load short button.

And the Vout didn't decrease to 0V either when I just short the Vout to GND, however, the I-load was unstable in this case.

I wonder if it is acceptable?

Hi Zhaocai,

In the first picture, i think it didn't go to short circuit actually. The real load resistor is about (3.3V/1.58A).

In the second picture, the inductor current get into OCP state successfully. But i am curious about Vout didn't drop.

How did you short the VOut to GND?

In the second picture, sorry, it's a mistake. This picture tested in the condition of 10A electronic load setting. Is that OK based on the IC design? Will Vout turn off in over current condition?
