TLC5955: Schmitt Input Buffer Characteristics

Tool/software:

The design I am working on has several daisy chained TLC5955 drivers that are working fine.

However, the GSCLK, SCLK & LAT signals aren't as well formed as I would like on account of the signals traversing multiple circuit boards and long trace lengths between the source and each of the TLC5955s.

It would help to have a little information regarding the characteristics of the Schmitt buffer inputs on GSCLK, SCLK & LAT so that I can determine how much design margin we have.

I appreciate your help.

Do you mean that there is an error in communication because the signal is fading?

Hi Jared,

There is no error in communications that I am aware of.

The block diagram on the datasheet indicates that the GSCLK, SCLK & LAT inputs have Schmitt trigger buffers.

Can you please share the hysterisis voltage for these inputs?

I don't have this data on my hand. I need to find this model and run some simulation on it. So, it might take some time. I will get back to you ASAP.

Note the data are not guaranteed by datasheet, just for your reference.
