BQ25756: STAT1, STAT2, /PG LED Resistor AND use the SN74LVC1G139DCTR Decoder

Part Number: BQ25756

Tool/software:

Hello

I have two relatively similar questions:

1:

How much current can the STAT1, STAT2 and /PG pins can accept?

I want to connect LEDs. Before I used 2.21KOhm resistors, but LED is not bright. Can I connect a 1KOhm resistor? I have 3.3V and 1KOhm = 3.3mA is that the pin accepting?

2:

Can I connect a 2:4 Decoder (TI number: SN74LVC1G139DCTR) to decode all the Bits from STAT1 and STAT2? Because then I can make separate LEDs for all four states: charging, charging done, fault, charge disabled.

Is that possible?

Thanks.
