TPS746-Q1: tsp746

Part Number: TPS746-Q1

Tool/software:

I am utilizing the LDO to power (2) 2:8 LVDS buffers. I was asked to utilize the adjustable version. The input voltage is 3.3V. The output voltage is 1.8V. I have C-in at 1uf. C-out I have seen in the data sheet as 2.2uf and up to 4.7uF. I am assuming these values would suffice for the circuit I have to design. I also saw the the max was 220uF. Unfortunately that amount of board space I have that size capacitor is physically too large. I could use (2) 100uF in parallel if that would make the circuit better. My big question in understanding the Cff capacitor. There is a lot of information in the document referenced in the data sheet. I need some input on what to use for this capacitor.

Please advise on the 2.2uF or the 4.7uF verses the (2) 100uF capacitors at the output.

Please advise on the Cff option that would be best.

If a conversation would be best my work phone is 508-818-5297
