LMZ31530: Alternate/Equivalent part for LMZ31530RLGT in TPSM Series Converters

Dear Team,

We are planning to use Ti buck converters in our design,As per out requirement we require 30A load current supporting converters for lower voltages(0.6V to 3.3V). We find LMZ31530RLGT suitable for our application and we also find that the LMZ31530RLGT is a older component(Since 2013). we see latest TPSM series Buck converters with some similar spec. with some deviations in Ripple and Transient response, So kindly suggest an alternate part for LMZ31530RLGT and we also need to know details about the products longevity of LMZ31530RLGT.

Hello Blessing,

There are no plans to discontinue the LMZ31530 and as a general rule of thumb TI does not discontinue devices.

Some alternatives to the 30A LMZ31530 are: TPS53355 which is a 30A device and TPS543C20A which is a 40A device. If you need <25A, I can provide some other options as well.
