TPS7B7702-Q1: Current Sense Accuracy

Part Number: TPS7B7702-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi dear.

What exactly does the Accuracy (%) value mean?

Chip-by-Chip deviation, Sense deviation by temperature, Measuring deviation for Current?

And, the test condition for leakage current for SENSE1, SENSE2, LIM, LIM1, LIM2 is ENx = GND. Do you have information about ENx = HIG?

We also want to know how accurate it is when the output current is below 1mAh. If you have any measured data, can you provide it?

  • Hello,

What exactly does the Accuracy (%) value mean? - Table 4 lists the current sense accuracy across temperature. For 5 to 10 mA, the sensed current at the SENSEx pin would be within 20% of the true value at OUT across the range of temperature.

Do you have information about ENx = HIG? - Leakage current is the current through the aforementioned pins when the device is disabled. So, information for ENx = HIGH is not available. The current through the SENSE pins is proportional to the output current through the respective channel. The current at the LIMx pins (LIM, LIM1, and LIM2) is proportional to the load current at the OUTx (OUT, OUT1, and OUT2) pins and is internally connected to a current-limit comparator referenced to 1.233 V

If you have any measured data, can you provide it? - I assume you meant output current is below 1 mA. We do not have this information.
