I have a question on the datasheet for this device.
The specs for the maximum PWM frequency at 1kHz:
The waveform below shows a 5% duty cycle, 250 Hz signal, so the pulse width is 200µs.
Are we able to output a 200µs low + 200µs high square wave (equivalent to 50% duty cycle at 2.5kHz)? What is the highest frequency at 50% duty cycle that the chip can go?

With the Tdon/Tdoff and slew rate on/off the total time is around 200us. It would be best to ensure the duty cycle range will allow for this switching time.
The higher frequencies suffer from higher distortion. Using the below app note you can use equations: 11, 12, 13 to find the impact of the timing. 1 kHz is spec'd to avoid the distortion like what is shown in Figure 3-4.
