Hello everybody,

I am working on a test setup for a Power Delivery solution with the TPS65987EVM.

Ereything is working well, except of one feature that is wished by our customer. They want to set the output power from 100/60W to 15W with an incomming digital signal.

Is it possible to use one of the GPIO pins to get this feature with the TPS65987, or is there an other possibility to get this work?

Hello,

I noticed that in the Application Report TPS65987D GPIO Events (SLVAE11A) is a exact describtion for what I want to do.

On page 7 to 14 is a step by step guide for the setup, unfortunatly I dont have the Version 4.01 Configuration Tool and with newer Versions I dont get it work. Perhaps of different settings in the Templates.

Does someone have the Version 4.01 for download

Hi Kevin,

please find attached my config file, I tried to setup as close as possible to the Application Report TPS65987D GPIO Events (SLVAE11A).

When I Debug configuration I can see that the GPIO event is triggered but the Evaluation board do not clearly switch from the setting with 5V, 9V, 15V, 20V/3A (60W) output power to 5V/3A (15W).

On GPIO4 high the 5V an 9V LED is blinking - No output current.

On GPIO4 Low No LED and No output current.

Do I use the wrong GPIO Event or are there some side effects because of other settings.

Can you please check my configuration and give me advice how to change?
