BQ25820EVM: Charging with VAC equal to VBAT

Hello,

We have configured the EVM to VBAT = 55V and want to charge with a PSU connected to VAC also at 55V. However, no charging occurs before setting VAC ~2.5V higher than VBAT. 

Is it possible to configure the EVM to charge when VAC equals VBAT? Is the device able to set HIDRV1 to a duty cycle of 100%?

    No, This is not possible. The BQ25820 is a buck only charger, so the input needs to be higher than the battery voltage. If you need a buck-boost charger, I recommend using BQ25750.
