Tool/software:
Hello,
When I am setting the V- to PACK- resistor (2.2k in your reference design) to zero ohm (short to PACK-), I disable OCC, OCD and SCP. Correct?
In this case, OVP and UVP will still work as intended. Correct?
Thank You!

Hello Andre,
That will also cause issues with the recovery methods for OVP/UVP, so it is not an efficient way to disable the current protection.
I'd recommend to read Sections 8.4.2 Overcharge Status and 8.4.3 Over-Discharge Status of the datasheet to understand how they work.
The BQ298xyz device may work better here for what you are trying to do. As the current protections are dependent on the current sense resistor that is separate from the load/charger detect.
