BQ40Z50: Discharge Battery to Empty,

Part Number: BQ40Z50

Tool/software:

Hi

1. According to the recommendation of the learning cycle, discharge during discharge is discharged from C/10 to C/5 specification, and resistance update is not made if the current is lower than the corresponding range.
Do I have to proceed with CC discharge according to the conditions?

2.It is recommended to turn off Guage_EN for Golden File extraction when FCC and resistance updates are complete after initial learning.
I would like to ask if we can put the pack together with Gauge_EN off and track the capacity by reflecting Qmax data, LT data, IR update when the customer uses it.

Thanks

Yes, please use a CC discharge with a C/5 rate till the term voltage is reached.

GAUGE_EN should always be enabled while the device is in operation or the performance of the gauge will not be accurate.
