LP8863 cannot tracking the real current, it can only detect the DAC value. For detecting the real current, you may need an additional circuit.

You can see it as our setting value of the output current. This value is from our internal digital section. You can use it as a reference, but if the analog circuit has some problems, it will not reflect in the register.
