UCC5870-Q1: What does VDESAT,ACTUAL actually mean?

Part Number: UCC5870-Q1

Tool/software:

From page 105 of the datasheet, formula (9), it says:
The actual threshold is calculated as:
VDESAT,ACTUAL = VDESATth - ICHG × RS - VDHV

If I understand correctly, V_DESATth is V_CE of the power transistor at which we want to trigger the DESAT protection while V_DESAT,ACTUAL is the value that should be programmed into the UCC5870-Q1 CFG5[DESATTH] bits in order to trigger at V_DESATth on the power transistor?

Thanks
