UCC256404: Technical Support Regarding the Above Mentioned Part number

To whom it may concern, I need some inputs regarding some issues I am facing with the UCC-256404 IC which is a LLC Resonant Controller IC. I need help on the following:-

1. Whether the above IC has reverse polarity protection feature. If not, is there any way to check whether the IC is damaged due to reverse voltage application.

2. RVCC Pin is not receiving voltage. What could be the possible reasons for this?

HI Shreyas,

What do mean by reverse polarity protection feature. See the recommend ratings on each pin in the datasheet. You should not exceed any of those ratings.

You wont see the output at RVCC when the controller is in fault state. You need to figure out which fault being triggered.
