TPS61230A: UVLO triggered way earlier than specified threshold during load

Part Number: TPS61230A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2113A

Tool/software:

Hi team,

I have a boost design here output 5V with TPS61230A and the schematics are basically the same as the datasheet's Typical Application except the Vin Cap is using 22uF Cer + 100uF Bulk Cap.

Because on the frontend I used TPS2113A for power switching, during the switch over event between the 2 sources (Battery 3.7V and USB 5.2V) Vin will experience a temporary disconnect so I've added a bulk Cap to try to maintain the voltage when a load is connected to make it a seamless transition.

However, when the Vout is 350mA @ 5V the Vin voltage drop will only get as low as 2.5V which is still above UVLO's falling threshold yet it was still getting triggered and comes back on after Vin is stabled at 5V.

This behavior is very different than what the datasheet states, how does that happened?
