Hi,
With the AFE BQ76940 and its companion BQ78350-R1A, the shutdown condition requires that the current measurement (Current()) must be ≤ 0. This means that during shutdown, the current should not be positive—it should be zero or negative.
Now, you are switching to the BQ76952/BQ76972 AFE, but you could not find a similar current limitation for shutdown in its datasheet. You need to confirm whether the BQ76952/BQ76972 also has a requirement that the current must be ≤ 0 for shutdown to occur or if it behaves differently.
