I have a question about circuit design

1. To use OUTH1,2 / OUTL1,2, GD2, GD1, and GD0 will be set to 1, 1, and 0 respectively when the inverter is running. And I will change GD0 to 1 only during Fault Reset.
In this case, is it okay to always fix GD2, 1 pin as pull-up?

2. I'm not going to use SPI communication. I want to get a fault signal by tying up the Fault n1, n2 pins and connecting them to the DSP. Is this possible?

Hi Dongho,

Thanks for reaching out.

1. Just to switch between the drive strength mentioned by you to fault reset you can tie GD2 and GD1 both HI and keep toggling GD0 between 1 & 0.

2. This is fine and possible. However, if you don't use SPI you'll miss out on a lot of diagnostic and configurability UCC5880-Q1 offers. Please see the below for same.
