TPS23861: Looking for PoE PD and PSE Ics for 60W or more than 60Watt

Hello TI Team,

I want to design a PoE for 60W application. I see that TPS23861 is limited to class 4 with max 25 Watt.

Do you have any PD and PSE controller IC for 60W PoE application?

Hi Kapil,

TPS23881, TPS23881B are recommended for 60W PSE.

TPS23730 is recommended for Class-6 51W PD.

Hi Diang,

So, TI doesn't have a PD controller for 60W or more than 60-Watt PoE solutions.

Hi Kapil,

TPS2372-4 and TPS2373-4 are 71.3W Class-8 PD. But they are PD only chips without PWM controllers.

TPS23881 and TPS23881B can be up to 90W Class-8 PSE.

Noted. do we have any reference design for TPS2372-4 and TPS2373-4 are 71.3W Class-8 PD with external PDM controller?
