Attached are the datasheet and EVK layout. These two documents have different layout approaches.
On datasheet page 29, the component is connected to ground using trace routing (Figure11-1) ,
while in the official website's EVK layout (https://www.ti.com/lit/df/tidu094/tidu094.pdf?ts=1739926884093), ground plane is used (Figure 8).
For example, the grounding method of ROC1 in the datasheet differs from R1 in the EVK layout.
What are the differences between these two methods? Which grounding method is recommended?
